Church Green

This is an extensive tree-lined green space offering interaction with nature in the midst of an urban area. It is a haven for wildlife, including hedgehogs, owls and a variety of birds. We are currently working to ‘rewild’ the space and have been grateful to Northumberland Wildlife Trust who recently re-laid our beech hedge to make it more wildlife friendly. Future plans include planting additional trees and bulbs and creating further habitats for wildlife.

We hold a regular Farmers’ Market, outdoor concerts and family events.
