Mothers’ Union
Mothers’ Union meet on the second Monday of the month in the main hall of All Saints’ Centre. 2pm – 4pm.
We have a speaker or a themed activity/discussion after a short service. All meetings end with refreshments and fellowship.
Everyone is welcome to attend any of our meetings – no need to be a member.
The Mothers’ Union is an international Christian organisation. It was started by our founder Mary Sumner in 1876 in her local parish, to help support young mothers. We have grown into an international charity with over 4 million members in 84 countries. Members involved in its work are not all mothers or even all women. Its main aim is to support marriage and family life, especially through times of adversity.
The Mothers’ Union is particularly concerned with the plight of women in the world. Its projects include literacy and
development, parenting and campaigning against gender-based violence.
